Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

2. I assume any cleat will release if you pull hard enough (!) in any direction but the single release cleats won't normally release except by rotating your heels either outward OR inward.
