Why is it that pista concepts always look so small? Almost like bmx frames?

Whenever I see a picture of a kilo it seems much bigger than a pista concept. Is it just that concepts are made small, or people just buy small frames cuz it's trendy, or is the same size and my eyes are just playing tricks.
