so when he says somethign negitve about biking just say "Yea your Right" and go on about what you were doin,

try and get him to go for some short rides with ya
find a cheep bike someplace and give it to him(maybe hes never had one), see he probably has been taught that bikes are for kids ( i was ) they are a toy,
go to a couple of drag races with him,
if you show some interest in what he does maybe he'll do the same
Were both on the schools motorsports team, and I have offered to help him work on his car, to which he says I am too stupid to do it. To this, I said, "yeah, I know". Everytime he thinks that he is making fun of my sport, I always just say "whatever" or "yup". I have never tried to argue with idiots, but this also makes him feel like he is winning a non-existent competition, and hence puts him ahead of me and "better" than me. Which is fine, because he is only competeing with his own mind. Like I said before, I do not allow anything he says get to me and I don't care what he or anyone thinks, I just wanted to show his opinion. It really sucks knowing that I will be training hard soon, and on top of it have to hear "Nice pants/shorts/shoes, ***!" after a 30 miles top-speed ride. But, I will say, no matter what, "yup" or "whatever", just like i have been.
