Since it seems like we've had to put up with their commercials since the day after election day 4 years ago, and since they're going to continue cluttering up the airwaves with their drivel until November 4, it only seems fair to make them wait until then to find out whether or not I voted for them. In addition, the political parties here in southwestern Ohio seem to have far too many races where folks are running unopposed; I refuse to vote for anyone who's in that position, on the theory that if they're too lazy to get out and vote for themselves, they deserve to lose. I'm also going to continue one other thing I've been doing about the local politicians: I take note of which candidates don't take their signs down by, say, November 11th. No more of my votes for them!
