The Conti 4 Season is sold as a tire and tube packaged set. Why's that... do the tubes and tires work in conjunction to provide puncture resistance... do I have to use that combo? Source: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/c/Cycle/7/Tyres_-_Road_Race/
In my experience they are. I tried PR2 and had several flats while never having a flat with GP4000 on the same roads. GP4000 will also last for longer. However, the PR2's ride is a little nicer, more supple and seems grippier.
