Buy some rims that are lighter...you won't regret it
I built up a sun front rim *POS $30 rim* to replace my front, and i ****ing ROMP on my bike (doing tricks I slam the front down all the time putting way more stress than 99% of people will do to their fixed gear) and I haven't had it go out of true or bend AT ALL
I had my LBS hand build it and I brought it back for them to recheck tension after a few days...spot on for 2+ weeks now of riding down cobblestone roads, jumping curbs, bunny hops, whatever the **** I throw at it.
Did I mention that the wheel, tube, and tire is lighter than just my deep v wheel by itself?
IMO, Deep-V's are overrated...go with something lighter, fuzion, aerohead...something else
PS.
I'm 210 lbs to boot
