On the way to and from work, I pass Tropicana field, where the World series is being held.....Yesterday, on the way home, there was a HUGE block party going on and the street was closed off to cars, so weaving through the herd of fans was a blast! GO PHILLIES!!! WOO-HOOOOOOO!!!! (ahem... sorry. Had to get that outta my system). Anyhoo, commute this morning in 34-degrees, very light winds compared to yesterday, when I was confronted with a 27 mph headwind gust at the Kelly Drive MUP. These winds off the Schuylkill river are killing me. When it's calm, I cruise along at 20 mph. When it's windy like this, I'm down to 14 mph (if I'm lucky).
