Besides, I have to believe that almost every winner of every major pro race has doped to some extent. There are some drugs that just not detectable, like blood doping and others that if you quit at the right time, will be undetectable.

Riders/dopers are always one step ahead of the scientists ability to detect the "dope du jour." Its been that way since the beginning of the tour when the dope of choice was strychnine and cognac.
