OK, after using the Snow Sneakers all of last winter. Here is my take on them. They turned out to be a good shoe for cold weather. The mesh above the toe does let in some cold air, but I put on the Performance Toesties over them and they solved that problem. I wore them down to 5f. That day I had two pair of socks, the 2nd pair was thick Merino Wool socks. The few times that I did wear them in rain thay kept my feet dry. The Bugabootoos look warm. But I question whether or not they'd fit in toeclips. And they are way heavier than the Snow Sneakers. For the $$ the Snow Sneakers are a good buy. And I'd purchase them again.
