Thanks, but I don't think the RaceFace bbs come in an ISO taper. I was looking at those (a ti model just sold on ebay for about $20!). I've heard that you can run an ISO crank on a JIS tapered bb, but the setup reduces crank-spindle engagement and risks damage to the crank under heavy load. Also, the fatter JIS taper means that the crank actually sits about 2.25mm (if I remember correctly) further out on the spindle. Again, this would ruin my nice chainline.

Adopting the Campy/Miche ISO platform means that your drivetrain will not be interchangable with all-terrain componants, such as that badass RaceFace bb. This is a disadvantage to the Miche groupset. Thanks for the suggestion.
