Actually, WRT fatalities, hunting is statistically more dangerous than biking. Hunting has a mortality rate of .85/100,000 participants; cycling has a rate of .24/100,000 participants.
Note that both of these activities are very safe; driving has a fatal accident result of 13-15/100,000, and your chance of being murdered is around 7/100,000 (although this varies widely by location).
Your chance of being *injured* on a bicycle seems to be greater than being injured while hunting, though.
