Speaking of vistas. I've been doing some hiking lately, a way of trying to combine my desire for activity with my need to be an active dad. I camped up at Mathews Arm last weekend for two days, beautiful, and chilly, ice on Sunday morning. We've been doing tiny sections of the AT. This shot was from Stony Man, I counted fifty people on that clif that day, kills the vibe of a nice quiet walk in the woods. Only saw maybe four cyclists on the drive, good thing as it was crazy crowded. I rode it once with my friend Bennett from Swift Run to Thornton. Talk about constant hills., though I hear the Blue Ridge Parkway is a bit more extreme.
