No, I haven't thought about any "ultra-endurance" events. The folks at DC Rand are trying to get me to commit to something as easy as a brevet, but since I'm not sure if I'll be racing again this coming year, I hesitate to give them commitments. Sounds like Maile would be a bit slow for you. though she's got the miles. If I can lose the weight then I hope to actually dip my toe into the racing thing spring 09. The brevet's aren't really races, just have to meet the cut off times, which seem to be pretty generous.
