Well... this was an odd sight.
First time every i see cyclist pulled over by the COPs.
i saw at least 3 cyclist pulled over today, and a big truck in Downtown Toronto.
1 of them... well (i don't want to sound mean but) it was well deserved.
He ran over a RED light, with 2 cops standing by right after the intersection with their Coffees on hand, and 2 cruisers parked on the side.
One of the many officers was dealing with the truck driver.
Another one of them talking to another cyclist further down the street, then yet another one a few intersections away.
The red light issue i saw it on action.
What can i say, the guy probably was blind in every way possible, either that or he was too daring.
Or simply enough to try to pull that off, running a
red light, without
headlight, and no
helmet!

... and apparently something about the Fenders???
So, i saw the cops pull him over, pointing at all the obvious reason why he is being ticketed.
I just don't quite get the part about the Fenders... the cops was pointing toward the missing mudguards, or perhaps they were talking about the tires, not sure, i didn't read all the lips since some times they were facing elsewhere.
by the time i left, the poor guy was still standing there, for some reason the cop didn't let him leave, even after citing the ticket to him, they were waiting for something.
Anyways by then my ride has arrived, and i left the scene, only to find further down the street, more cyclist pulled over, and some serious accident, a street below, some woman got trapped under a bus.... really really brutal morning.
Which actually makes me think i'm glad i did not bike in to work this morning, because of the heavy rain, and... the idea of sticky Jeans up my tights are not a good feeling

i decide to take the sloooow moe street cars instead.
