A lot of the hatred for BD on this site stems from the shills that they sent to spam the board with fake "Look at my great bike that I got for such a great price from this great new website!" posts. Other than that, they sell frames of arguable quality (nobody really knows for sure one way or the other who makes them, or what other brands the BD manufacturer makes) equipped with name-brand, high quality components. A friend of mine has a BD bike and I must say that for only a couple hundred more than I paid for my Allez, his bike is really nice.
