I do think one is better then the other. I just know, after trying both, which works best for me. That is a helmet mounted mirror. Since I wear prescription glasses and only have one pair I do not like a mirror mounted to them. Plus it brings the mirror closer to my face then I like. I prefer the further out distance I get with it mounted on my helmet visor.

Of the mirrors I have tried I prefer the Take a Look brand.
