the o-rings for my 5-mode fell apart too. It's strange how 2 o-rings on the 5-mode fell apart within a few days, but the 2-mode with a different design hasn't.

I had some spare 9/16 O-rings lying around so I used those. a bit tight, but stretches out to the proper size.
