Once again BF has lost a reply I typed before I could get it to post!!!!!

My short attempt to help is, you should measure her and see what size frame she should have. At least get a good inseam measurement for her and calculate the standard center-center frame size. One of the best guides for this aspect of frame sizing and really almost all of them is the frame size calculator at Competitive Cyclist.

That said, I have several 52 cm frames that are very different. My Masi is short and tight and has a lot of toe overlap, and my Mondonico is somewhat taller, with a kicked-our fork to eliminate toe overlap. Overlap is not a problem under most conditions, and might never be a problem for her. My Woodrup is also a 52, and it is very stretched out.
