I bought a Husky 3 AAA 3 Watt Cree light ($21) to use with my lockblocks. (It fits the larger curve, but that's ok...my handlebars are working with the smaller curve anyway.
I used it the other night on my commute home and compared it to my Home-made halogen. It's nearly as bright (actually brighter in the center) and has a similar throw.
Works so well I went back and picked up another for my wife's bike.
Might get one more to replace the 9 LED light I have on my helmet.
