I've tried low mounted lights and don't like them at all. Shadows are too elongated to see the object clearly. It's really accentuated in off-road situations. Lights hanging below the bar are about as low as I want to go.

As for front flashers, I'm not a believer. The amount of light that I pump out would overwhelm just about any flasher. Since installing my current system, I don't have any issues with motorists not noticing me. I look like a bloody lighthouse
