Those Vanillas are beautiful, but personally, I wouldn't want to tour on that. Too pretty, too many nooks/crannies to get dirt in, basically just too much aesthetics to worry about.

Give me simple, sturdy, and durable on a touring bike.

I'd like a touring bike that had intergrated front and rear racks (with a top on the front rack)

On the racks I'd like tabs for cargo net hooks in a practical place.

Those are really the only things I can think of.
