I have a couple bikes that I keep pretty much original because I bought them new, a 1984 Miyata 310 and a 1986 Schwinn Sierra. The rest are open for whatever I am in the mood for, or have parts for. Sometimes I will buy parts or a parts bike when I see them for a good price, with the idea that I might use them on a project later. I did that with a free 3 speed huffy because I wanted to build a 3 speed lightweight. It was some time later that I found a frame and alloy wheels to put it all together.
