It's not uncommon for me to ride with my own club and decide it's not working and simply split off the group. Personally, and for good reason, I refuse to tell anyone how to use the road when I'm on it.
If they're endangering your safety by riding erratically or not pointing out hazards, that's rude. Besides, there are polite ways to say anything.

"It'd be great if you could point out the next pothole and maybe hold you line a bit straighter, thanks" is all you need.
