Ok who the hell needs 2 tubes on a 25 mile ride? Plus a Patch kit?

I carry 1 tube, patch kit, multi tool, 2 co2 carts, tire levers in my saddle bags...fixed gear adds a stubby 15mm wrench.

In my jersey pockets I carry a mini pump/co2 inflater combo, cell phone, key, id and insurance card, $10-$20 cash.

This is the same for a 20 mile ride or a 100 mile ride. Honestly I have only flatted once in nearly 6k miles (of course that was the kiss of death)....maybe 6 times in the last 4 years but that includes a rash of valves ripping off (3 in a week 2 of which happened in my garage) which I blame on a bad batch of tubes.
