I got it in at least 1996. It seemed a bit dated then,the serial number stamped on the bottom would suggest 1983. That was taken from a website i found which states that the first number after the letter prefix (normally B or Y) is the year and the amount of digits would suggest the decade. 80's was 8 digits and the serial number Y305 28071 would be '83.
