i had the alias for two seasons, made the switch to the toupe for the weight savings and because i had some numbness issues with the alias...
it took me a few rides to get used to the toupe.. it felt like i was sitting on a very small board at first.. since then i have fallen in love with the saddle.. it is AWESOME.
I've done stage races with 100+ mile stages on it with no issues... great saddle, good price, light weight...
make sure you ride it for a couple days before you decide against it..
ask your dealer if he has one to try out, mine did... made me feel a lot better about buying such a minimalist saddle.
