A co-worker that I knew before at another job told me of his bank teller friend about bikes and drive thrus in the USA. I forgot what I said exactly but I remember him telling me his bank teller friend was told by the bank no bikes or walk ups to the drive thru because of robbery issues and that a bike can escape more easily.
Now I've never worked at a bank but that does make some sense to me thinking on it now while reading this thread. Then again I would think a motorbike/car in an escape would cover more ground then a bike unless you're in a wooded revine area then perhaps yah the bike would have more of an advantage I think if it was a MTB.
Anyways just something of a flashback when I read this.
