All I did was drop a tiny amount of chain oil between the lever and the plastic concave washer thingy. Has anyone else tried this trick?
Yes and it helps a ton. You should try to use a synthetic oil though. Petroleum-based lubes can weaken plastic over time, like the Delrin typically used for those concave washers.
