That looks like the steelwool I saw a few weeks back on Danforth (same color anyway). Tragic to see that happen to any bike let alone a really nice one like that.

Mind you, I'd try finding some bushes to bury my bike in before I'd try leaving it locked overnight in Kensington. Still sucks though
