To me the Dahon S8 feels like I'm riding a folding bike, while the BF feels like a full size bike that just happens to have smaller wheels. The BF feels more solid. But don't take my word for it, try one out first. The BF company might be able to set you up with an owner for a demo.
Also, If you're considering a Llama, did you see my post in the recent NWT vs Llama thread? (I've owned both)
