I am in such a debacle right now as of which bag to get the metropolis or the large timbuk, I like the shape and feel of the chrome but I like the extra pockets and sections in the front of the buk. Does anyone have a selling point on either of these bags to help me make my decision.
I had a thread going in the commuting section on the same topic. I have a large Timbuk2 and I just got a Seagull Black Bag. I decided to keep riding the Seagull; the Timbuk2 is much easier to organize, however, the seagull just rides so well. I went with the black bag, then spent another $20 on pouches to help me organize my tools and pencils and such [I am a grad student]. I think the Black Bag and $20 on pouches is still less than a Chrome, but about the same as a custom Timbuk2.
I highly recommend getting the bag that rides better.
