Vino was given a 1 year suspension from his national governing body. The UCI wanted the mandatory 2 year ban but acquiesced because Vino said he was going to retire and no longer compete. Now Vino has gone back on that promise so the UCI now wants to hold him to the 2 year ban. Even if Vino appeals this and wins ASO will never allow a team with him on it to compete in one of their events. Like I posted earlier this would include some of the springs major classics and both the Tour and Vuelta.
Vino was not just a doper he was a stupid doper. He picked one of the easiest things to screen for. If he thought he would get away with it he is a moron. On top of that no one thought he was as far behind because he was riding poorly, his accident was the obvious reason. He did nothing but disgrace his team, the Tour and himself. Personally he deserves the lifetime ban if anyone doses.
+100. They have no shot at any ASO events with Vino on the roster. They're probably hoping he comes back so they have a reason to ban Armstrong too.
