You could put a spare inside an opaque water bottle and keep that in your desk. No one would question the contents.
+1 on the water bottle trick. I have one dark blue with emergency underwear and socks. I also have a small travel size deodorant, a new toothbrush and travel sized paste... all in the bottle.
