I agree that a safe bike is better than a stylish bike, but the appearance of reflective tape might stop some riders from using it. My definition of a good bike is a bike you want to ride.
The post demonstrates that you don't need to apply tape to the bike to get good results. A stealthy application of tape can go a long way.
