dhfd - Well I can answer this with an educated guess that it was a closeout 03. I got an 03 57cm Argenta in Mid Sept for $700 and it was a fantastic starter bike. I just sold it for $475 shipped and that person is getting an even better deal although it now has a few miles on it (~700). For 2005 I believe they went compact and AL so IMO not as great a bike but I do like Marins (I have a Mill Valley as my commuter as well).
