Gang, is there any science or rule of thumb you go by when sizing drop down handlebars? Is the diameter given for road bike bars the length between the right hand and left hand? I was riding a bike the other day at the LBS and it seemed like my hands were spread too far apart but I'm not sure how these things are supposed to be sized/fit. I'm not talking about when my hands are on the top of the bars but instead when I'm crouched down and gripping the lower portion of the bars. Thanks
