Hmm....

I can find my way around a kitchen.

Does this seem about right?

GOETTA2 qt. cold water
2 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
2 c. pinhead or steel cut oats
1 med. minced onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. sage
2 bay leaves

Use heavy pan! Break up meats with fork in water while beginning to boil. Add all other ingredients cook stirring often at least 3 hours in large heavy pan or pot. Goetta will be thick when done. Pour into loaf pans. Cool before refrigerating. After refrigerating to set, slice to fry.
Sounds pretty good.
