The solution is that all bike parts need to be installed with tools AND a key. Duh!!!

*inserts Brooks™ key into Brooks™ saddle, locking Brooks™ saddle to Nitto™ seat post (which is locked with a Nitto™ key to his Mercier™ frame)*
