i love mine, in traffic its great to be able to ride the tops for a more upright position and still be able to grab the brake immediately. for non commuting/traffic situations they are useless on a road bike.

my love for them could also be that my old bike i started riding on had those old style levers that curved from the drop levers around on the inside of the bar. people may hate those but you can grab the brake no matter where your hand is on the bar.
