Why do you think they make special trainer tires? they even save money.
If you're just going to tool around for 15 minutes watching TV, ok. Most people think this is fluid training, which is why they describe it as boring.

Never have I seen a need for a special trainer tire. In fact, the only time I've seen someone using one, they had yellow bits all over the floor behind them, just like the folks using old worn out road tires.
BikeIndustryGuy - The only people that stand to gain something by selling you unnecessary bike trainer tires are the tire companies.
