It's not puritanical to have sense of decency and appropriateness about our bodies. There is no shame in them and nothing wrong with them. But that doesn't mean everybody has to see it. Some things are private and are better left reserved for those we love and with whom we want to be intimate.
They used to think that
wearing bloomers and showing ankles were scandalous. Bicycles have always been on the forefront of social change.
