you could put 2.5 (or 2) mm spacers on each side of the hub, and it will work fine. I don't know if the axel is long enough for that or not. For a stronger wheel, you can have it rebuilt for 135 mm; I'm not sure if the spokes will need to be replaced or not. I think that asking your LBS is a good Idea.
