You have no evidence that the hub was ****ed with by the shop guys, why would they? You already know you have a wheelbuild that is entirely ****. Wrong spoke tension, off dish and not true. Basically not even a wheel at that point. Especially not a $60 labour only handbuilt one.

Before you go in there firing all guns with your lawyer, perhaps you could try talking to the guys in the back calmly and explaining to them that what you're holding isn't a properly built wheel and ask for a complete refund. If the rim itself is ****ed then ask that it be replaced.

After that, rebuild the wheel yourself.
