An olive sweater with pink socks and a blue shirt? I guess you have a different definition of "sensible" than I do... Also, after any kind of ride that man would be hell of wet under the arms. Just sayin'...

Anyway, I wear these everywhere I go. They don't look ridiculous, they're stiff enough for a ride but comfy enough for walking, and if they get shredded, who cares? They were like $30 from Nashbar on sale. If you do buy them, be warned that they run a little small but they stretch and break in nicely after they get soaking wet a few times, because they're leather instead of plastic. But don't tell my vegan friends...
