Let me just make it clear that my experience is in one of the most commuter-centric shops in Canada, perhaps NA. Bion-X, generator hubs, X-tra Cycle, Surley Big Dummy, Toute-Terrain, Buch & Muller, Rohloff -- that's the core of my expertise.
Also set up some very innovative solutions for physically "challenged" riders such as trikes w/ Bion-X kits, set ups for people with use of only one arm, etc.
What I'm talking about re waranteee is that you will likely experience electronic issues w/ assist kits. It's a fact. They are improving slowly, but the complex electronics are the Achilles heel.
Again, if you need assist, I'll put in another word for Bion-X. Best of the breed.
Now I'm done here.
