Weird. Bit of an easterly wind, which neither helps nor hinders. Temps right around the freezing point but rising steadily. Very intermittent light rain. I mounted the studded Hakkas last night just in case things were ice-coated this morning. It's hard to say whether the effort was wasted. Things seemed mostly wet but some streets were slushy and there was definite ice on my driveway.

Only saw one other person on the MUP, a runner. On the road, I met a young woman on an MTB riding uphill. She didn't have studs. Two bikes at my building when I arrived. It's nice to see people out when it's not sunny and 70F.
