Things aren't "changing" at Performance...things
are changing at Lynskey however...
When the economy is bad and you're a very small, niche brand not spending bank on marketing and advertising ya gotta sell the product somehow. Performance, for good, bad or indifferent has one helluva huge name in cycling and "exposes" itself to literally millions through it's catalogs, stores and website, something a company the size of Lynskey could never do.
When times are tough and you're sales log is frighteningly empty or at least orders are low you change your business model a bit to fit the situation, hence, Lynskey at Performance.
Could be short term, could be a "trial", all the frames could be on "wheels" as we say in the business or it could be a long term partnership. Whatever the case, it doesn;t change the fact that Lynskey makes a sweet frame, always has and always will.
