I spent about $2000.00. I've really totaled everything yet but that should pretty close.
I went for a ride this morning. It was 29 degrees F, no wind and dry. I went 5.5 miles on 3.66ah's of my 12ah SLA's, with 31 starts and an elevation change of 88 feet. Top speed was 25.9 mph, avg speed 13.9 mph without peddling. I made the exact same trip when the temp was 53 degrees F and used 3.38ah's.
I was wearing a balaclava under my helmet, a down lined jacket, tennis shoes and light weight cotton gloves. My hands and feet were cold but otherwise I was comfortable.
