Hope this isnt a stupid question, if It is I am sorry for my stupidity and newbieness.

I have a 1980 something Schwinn Le Tour, and both the brake levers have issues so I figure I would replace with something newer. From what I could find my Handle Bars are 23.5 mm. This is from my Brake levers, so Im not 100% sure. The new levers I am looking at say the are compatible for 23.8. Is this small enough of a difference to be okay?
