There are various different models of the brooks saddle, with different widths. The basic concept behind the brooks saddle is that it is made of hard leather, and after you have ridden a few hundred miles on it, the parts of the saddle that come in contact with the hard parts of your butt soften, and the other parts remain firm, so the saddle molds to the profile of your assets. Once broken in, I find the brooks B-17 saddle the most comfortable saddle in existence.
